Setting up the SJPhone Software

When you fire up the SJPhone software, you will see something like this. The button to get to the settings is the screwdriver right in the middle. Or you can right click anywhere and select options.

To begin, we suggest you change the skin to a more classy looking one. Choose options (or the button with the screwdriver) and skins. Try mega.skn Your phone should now look like the below:

Now to proceed with setup. Open the options dialog again.

Click the "Profiles" tab, then "New".

Enter "X-FON" as the Profile Name. Then Press OK

On the SIP Proxy Tab, enter "sip.xantek.cc" in the Proxy Domain Box. The click OK.

Enter the Account (the phone number you were given when you registered. Should be a 7 digit number.) Then enter the Password you were given (Should be a 6 digit number.)

That's it. You're all set. When you close out the dialog box, you should see the registered message in the display window of the phone. Ready to try it. Dial 633. You should hear a prompt to record a brief test message. After you record your message, press # and it will be played back to you.
