SIP Providers allow you to connect to the phone system

Your Xantek phone system uses VoIP technology (Voice over IP) to handle most of your calls. However, a phone system would not be of much use if you could only connect to other computers on your network. Connecting to the telephone system allows you to reach people who are still using the old fashioned telephone network. Since these represent about 99% of the people you are likely to want to talk to, this is obviously an important part of your telephone system.

Outbound phone calls from our system can be made from any extension that has been authorized. If you have a phone in the lobby, for example, you can restrict it to internal calls only.

Outbound calls to destinations in the US and Canada will cost $.021 per minute. Calls to international destinations will be slightly more. (Most Western European detinations, for example, will cost you $.025 per minute.

You can also have local inbound numbers connected to your system, and these numbers can be domiciled anywhere in the world. If you have a strong market presence in a particular area, you may want a local dial up number in that area. Toll free inbound numbers are also available.
